In order to comply with Australian financial rules and regulations each user making and receiving payment on PayK must have their details verified.
When you enter your personal details, after adding a payment/withdrawal method, the details are run through our electronic verification system. The verification system checks the details against government data points to confirm your identity.
If the system is unable to verify you by email, we will contact you to advise of further steps you can take. Generally this can be solved by re-adding your payment/withdrawal method with your correct information. However if issues persist we may need to complete document verification.
Document verification is when we verify you using Government approved ID and documents such as your passport, drivers licence, medicare card etc... The document number is checked alongside your details against the governing bodies data. If the documents are valid and match your details the account will then be verified and we will contact you to advise you are now able to use the full app!
